SUSHI PARTY AT VIVERE KITCHEN SHOWROOM

In partnership with TheFoodHall supermarket, VIVERE Kitchen opened a sushi recipe competition to look for the best sushi chef in town from April - July 2011.
From hundreds of recipes that submitted by people from various backgrounds, the judges panels pick the best three contestants to compete and cook their recipes in front of the live audiences, and win the title of the sushi master and prizes.
VIVERE SUSHI MAKING COMPETITION is a lifestyle celebration that embrace the spirit of cooking. It is a collaboration between VIVERE, TheFoodHall and Bank Permata, with the support from LG Electonics and Ariston. VIP customers are expected to experience the enjoyment of cooking at home, learn tips and trick of sushi making, while accompanied with Sushi Cuisine, DJ Lounge and Competition ambiance.
This event is held in conjunction with the introduction of VIVERE Kitchen to the public. This latest product line from VIVERE embraces the art of home cooking. VIVERE Kitchen believes that cooking at home is beyond about food. It is about creating delicious meal, and eating it together with great conversation with the people you most care, be it friends, family or loved one.

The Contestants
3 passionate cookers are picked to have a chance to win the title of Sushi Master. They are Hanson Sukimin, Eduard Widjaja, and Hendry Chen. The 3 contestants have strong background in Food & Beverage and Restaurant
The Judges
VIVERE Sushi making competition has a jury panel that consists of 3 strong people in the culinary industry. George Lee (Executive Chef for PT.Panen Indah Lestari, company that creates Chatter Box group), Petty Elliot (Food Columnist and regular culinary writer for expatriate magazine. She also writes a cooking book, specializing in fusion Manado Food), and Budi Santoso (General Manager TheFoodHall, lifestyle and big supermarket chain under PT. Mitra Adi Perkasa).
The Winners
The winner of the Sushi Making Competition and the title of the sushi master goes to Hanson Sukimin, with his Medley of Summer Sushi. This original sushi recipe is actually a dessert dish. It consist of 3 rich flavors that combines fruits, nuts, chocolate and leafs.
