Meet The Designer: Anja Furniture

ANJA is a design collective founded in 2012 by Rina Renville, an Indonesian designer driven by her passion for local furniture and materials. Joined by five fellow creatives Febrie Ikhsan, Mutia Diah Pratiwi, Ilhamia Nuantika, Jodie Darmawan, and Arlinda Hapsawardhani, each bringing diverse expertise and accomplishments, the group has carved its niche in contemporary rattan design.

With a shared vision to reimagine tradition through modern sensibilities, ANJA’s work reflects both innovation and cultural pride. In collaborating with VIVERE Collection, ANJA continues its mission to bring Indonesian rattan craftsmanship to a global stage, presenting fresh possibilities for one of the nation’s most iconic materials.

LEYYE Lounge Chair – Redefining Relaxation

Inspired by the Indonesian phrase leyeh-leyeh, which means to sit back and relax, LEYYE Lounge Chair perfectly embodies a spirit of comfort and ease.

This unique piece is the result of a collaboration between VIVERE Collection and Anja Furniture, blending contemporary design with Indonesia’s rattan heritage.What makes LEYYE truly remarkable is its unusual yet inviting form, designed to support multiple seating positions while maintaining exceptional comfort.

The chair features pitri weaving across its entire surface, showcasing the artistry of skilled craftsmanship. Built with a Manau rattan frame, finished in a subtle mix of white wash and orange, and supported by a metal frame in grey epoxy paint, the design balances natural warmth with modern durability.

A dense cushion adds the final touch, ensuring long-lasting comfort.With its distinctive silhouette and refined details, LEYYE Lounge Chair is an invitation to slow down, unwind, and embrace a moment of calm in style.
