The Journey of Design & Meaning: RAYA Series

In 2014, VIVERE Collection joined hands with renowned Indonesian interior designer Yuni Jie, bringing to life an exclusive collaboration that presented timeless pieces with the name of RAYA, from wingchairs and living collections with their cushions, to bedroom and dining ensembles. Each item was carefully curated, carrying not only function but also emotion, artistry, and heritage.

Meet The Designer : Yuni Jie

Yuni Jie, celebrated for her modern yet approachable design language, infused this collection with her signature touch: a seamless blend of ethnic elements and contemporary elegance.

She is an esteemed Indonesian interior and product designer with degrees from Cornish College of the Arts and Pratt Institute, is known for her modern, functional style and The Art of Casual Elegance. Founder of Jie Design and author of six books, including the first on interior design by an Indonesian female designer. She also established “One Fine Sky” to support education for underprivileged students. Named Interior Designer of the Year 2024 by Prestige Indonesia, she continues to champion Indonesian craft on a global stage.

Since establishing Jie Design in 2012, her philosophy of casual elegance has remained at the heart of her work: modern design that feels effortless, comfortable, and deeply human.

Among the highlights of this collaboration was the RAYA Round Side Table, a piece inspired by the nostalgic charm of the “Rantang”. Much like the multi-tiered food carrier that once arrived at homes carrying flavors and love, the table embodies layers of life heritage, memory, and modern living woven into a single design. It stands as a vessel of connection, inviting families and friends to gather, share, and create new stories together.
